New Mexico is not one housing stock. Homes in Harding County date mostly from the 1950s, while in Sandoval County the median house went up in the 1990s.

That is why every town here has its own page. A house on a crawl space and a house on a sealed slab are different inspections, and it changes county by county.

Pesticide applicators are licensed by the state, so the license that matters is a New Mexico one. Ask what name the license is held under before work begins — a trading name and the licensed entity are frequently not the same.

License: Held by the contractor and issued in New Mexico. Ask which name it is held under — a trading name and the licensed entity are often not the same.
Price: What the pest is, what the treatment involves, how many visits it takes and what it costs — explained before any work begins.
The call: Describing what you found commits you to nothing. Nothing is booked until you say so.
Coverage: By town, not by region. New Mexico and the towns around it.

A technician kneels beside a house foundation and shines a flashlight into a crawl space vent.

What happens after the call

You say what you have seen and where in the home it turned up. That is usually enough to narrow it down on the phone.

A technician then inspects the property — inside, around the outside, and in the crawl space or attic where the sign usually starts. Identification comes before treatment, and the treatment is quoted before it begins.
